Due to lack of member interest, the team announced today that it will terminate all operations in the game Battlefield 2, effective immediately.
The team announced that it will be expanding into the new games of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (ET:QW) and Team Fortress 2 (TF2).
It is with great sorrow that Team Special Forces has learned of the passing of one of our BF2 members, snipenya01. He died in a motorcycle accident in Florida on Tuesday, September 4.
The team offers its condolences to his family and friends, including those who only knew him online.

The team welcomes the news that Sony Online Entertainment will change the game of Tanarus from a pay-to-play game as it has been for the last number of years back to a free game as it was originally. The team was founded in Tanarus and its key playerbase at that time were players who played the game for free.
December 2006 marks the beginning of the ninth year of operations for Team Special Forces. Initially begun in Tanarus in December 1997, today the team's extended community includes over 480 people in four games. Special events will be held during the holiday season to mark the occasion and we always encourage people to play with us on our public servers.
