Team Launches Division in Rainbow Six Siege

Public News Releases Team Special Forces is proud to announce the formation of its newest division in Rainbow Six Siege. This expansion came about through our Developmental Games process, where a game is explored by a small number of members to determine its suitability. The new division will be led by Rentthol, who held the same role in the World of Warships Division and is now transferring over to Rainbow Six Siege.

The team is accepting applications for Rainbow Six Siege players who would like to join our new division. Joining gives you a reliable group of teammates to play with, enhances communication, and fosters strategic depth and enjoyment of the game. Staff positions are also available. The team also operates its public TeamSpeak 3 server, which welcomes all players to participate in games together.

Team Special Forces Celebrates 18 Years

Public News Releases

Team Special Forces is especially proud and honored to announce the observance of the eighteenth anniversary of the team's founding in December 1997 in the tank combat game of Tanarus. Operating uninterrupted since then, the team is part of an elite group of gaming organizations which have stood the test of time for as long as we have.

The team's longevity is thanks to its outstanding community of members, who are the lifeblood of the organization, and the tireless effort of volunteer leaders past and present who work to keep the team moving forward while adhering to its values and ethos.

Team Special Forces recruits new members continuously via an application on its website (Team-SF.com) and operates a public TeamSpeak 3 server which is open to all gamers (accessed at Team-SF.com/TS3).

Long-Time Member and Past Leader [SF]Hairy Passes Away

Public News Releases

It is with a deep sense of sadness that we must confirm the news that our friend, long-time member, and former leader of the team, [SF]Hairy, passed away Wednesday following a brief struggle with cancer. Having been a member since circa 1998 and the Supreme Commander of the team from circa 2000 until 2008, Hairy was a profoundly excellent leader, mentor, and friend to anyone who met him, and whose many accomplishments here form the foundation of the modern team organization.

Hailing from the Melbourne, Australia area, Hairy was integral to the transformation of Team Special Forces from its roots as a prominent large team in the game of Tanarus that he so strongly enjoyed to a thriving multi-game community with hundreds of members. Through his thoughtful and principled leadership, he garnered the respect of the officers who were privileged to serve under him, and his vision for a better gaming community continues to inspire us.

Being one of the elder members of the team, he was a source of wisdom and direction in uncertain times. Although he had been semi-retired from the team for several years, those who remember him from his active period in the team will undoubtedly remember his suave, definitively Australian voice which so often acted as a calming influence amidst troubled waters. Even today, team leaders reflect on his actions as a guide for how to conduct themselves.

Team Launches Division in DayZ

Public News Releases Team Special Forces is proud to announce the formation of its newest division in the standalone zombie survival world of DayZ, from Bohemia Interactive. This expansion offers a decidedly different gaming environment for the team, and is the result of our internal developmental games process. Commanding Officer drew33445 was the most recent leader of the developmental group and helped to increase the game's popularity with team members to the point where we believe it is self-sustaining. Even as the game continues its long development process, member interest has remained consistent and we view with optimism efforts by the game developers to move the game into beta state soon.

The team is accepting applications for DayZ players who would like to join our new division. Joining gives you a reliable group of teammates to play with, enhances communication, and fosters strategic depth and enjoyment of the game. Staff positions are also available. The team also operates its public TeamSpeak 3 server, which welcomes all players to participate in games together.
