Team Special Forces is proud to mark the sixteenth anniversary of the team's founding in December 1997. As another year has come and gone, we reflect back on the many great members who have contributed so much to our community and made it the place to be. We especially thank our volunteers who have kept the organization running this past year in the face of the incredible growth in our membership. We are glad to announce that the holiday break is over and we are accepting new member applications again.

To allow our staff time to rest during the Thanksgiving holiday period, our new member application will be closed from Tuesday, November 26 until Sunday, December 1. Applications to join our team prior to the cutoff will continue to be processed as normal. If you wish to join Team Special Forces, please come back on December 1 when the new member application will open again.

Team Special Forces is proud to announce the newest game to be added as a division: MechWarrior Online. The team has been involved in MWO for over nine months during the game's early testing phases. Our developmental effort was led by Ski_Dog, who is now taking the position of Commanding Officer of the MechWarrior Division.

We have been accepting new members for MWO for months now and continue to do so. Any interest players are welcomed to apply, or just drop by our TeamSpeak server and make some new friends in the MWO channels.

Team Special Forces is proud to celebrate its fifteenth anniversary. What began in the tank combat game of Tanarus in December 1997 has continued without interruption to this day. Over the years, we have branched out into other games, seen lots of members come and go, and had many great games together.

Ultimately we are thankful for the dedicated volunteers who have provided leadership and stability to weather the storms that the community has faced over the years, and for each and every member past and present who has helped to enliven and advance the team through their own individual contributions. With thousands of alumni, there are simply too many people to mention adequately here.

We continue to be an open and welcoming community for all gamers. Please consider visiting us on our public TeamSpeak server and help to keep the bonds of the greater gaming community strong.
